How do you see yourself?

Image is everything. Clothes don’t make the man, but they introduce him.

What image do you hold of yourself?

To develop a wealth-generating attitude we have to deal with our self-image.

How does God see you?

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Jesus says “I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.” This talks of overflow, more and enough, being able to bless others!

This is how God desires to see us: to be blessed and to be a blessing.

Even though I am a person who tries to practice Buddhist beliefs I embrace the Kingdom Business / biblical belief of showing love kindness to all fellow men and women.

I have attended Kingdom Business meetings and found them to be very interesting to see how people can come together and share business no matter what creed or colour even though it is a Christian based organisation.

A few years ago Alistair approached me and asked me to help within the area of sourcing mortgages, re mortgages for capital raising, mortgages for investment properties, and secured loans to help people within the church and community. He explained the principle of tithing or blessing 10% of income and putting back into the church

During the last few years I have completed a number of different mortgages for the people involved, not only in Kingdom Business but also for others in the community that have been introduced to me through Alistair at Kingdom Business

In today’s society it is great to see there are organisations such as Kingdom Business who are there to help other’s at no cost to themselves, other than their time and sharing what they have learned and passing it on to help people come into a more fulfilled life and enjoying the happiness it brings.

One day they met Jesus and their lives radically changed. Mark met the Lord at the age of 30 when he was on his last sentence and doing drug rehab. Andrea met the Lord when at university at the age of 23. Neither had been taught how to manage finances. In Andrea’s family, money was a source of arguments and there was a definite poverty spirit. Mark learnt quickly that in order to get money you needed to steel it from someone else starting at the age of 6 by stealing next doors milk and progressing up to burgling factories.

When these individuals met the Lord their lives dramatically changed, and it changed because they started to put into practice Kingdom principles. Through spending time with the Lord and praising his name (through good times and bad) they began to get a revelation of who God really was in their lives. That He was their heavenly father who desperately wanted to bestow blessings on then. That He was a God of grace and that everything was possible if they believed in Him.

Mark and Andrea met at a church called ‘Riverside’. In 2002 they were married and have been walking out in faith on a daily basis. Andrea went from being wrapped in fear and anxiety to leading worship at her local church and completing a doctorate in clinical psychology. Mark went from serving the devil to fulfilling the Lord’s will for his life.

He regularly shares his testimony to hundreds of people at large events and has recently preached his first message at Riverside, which was attended by approximately 400 people. He has also written a book of his life story, which he has called ‘Condemed’. These people are going from blessing to blessing. They quickly learnt that to serve God was everything and started right at the basics with their finances. They quickly learnt tithing and giving offerings was a key to walking right with God.

Mark and Andrea started attending the Kingdom Business course where Alistair and Heather taught on biblical foundations and dealing with finances in the market place. Within a very short time they got hold of Kingdom Business principles and they caught the vision and applied it to their own lives. Since this time they have seen such a release. Through applying the principles learnt on the Kingdom Business course they have recently been blessed with £10,000 in order to help purchase their first property and are planning to purchase more properties, in order that money can be fed back into the church. Through learning these principle taught on the Kingdom Business course their lives have been changed in many ways. They have such a massive revelation of what God is capable of and they are expecting God to use them mightily. Andrea has ‘loosed the chains of injustice’ in her own life and has it on her heart to see thousands set free from the spirit of poverty and bondage of fear to worship God in Spirit and truth and see people reach their full potential in God. Mark wants to see many won to Christ and both have a heart for the lost particularly men and women who have been on drugs and alcohol.

Mark and Andrea have seen an amazing change in their life style and are now in their own home, in full time ministry and have a little boy and one on the way.

This has not felt quite like the plan we feel God has for us.

The idea of Kingdom business, working with Christian brothers and sisters, really excited us. We talked to our friends about buying a house to fix up and re-sell for profit.

We got together with three other couples and decided to go for it. It was mostly great fun and really bonded our friendships in a new way. We also used our youth team to help with the project, which was a fantastic exercise. We will make about 60% profit on our investment and are totally blessed. It is the first house we’ve done and was a real learning experience. Now we are even more prepared for the next one.

We feel a new freedom after taking the risk. God led us to take a chance and we see his creative hand of provision in this idea. We love that it required us couples to work together and we will be all blessed together. We are glad to becoming out of the cycle of work, save and spend it all. We want to use wisdom with the money God has given us. We trust that one day we will be able to live our dreams and God’s plans for our lives.
